Marry My Husband: Japan

If fate suddenly threw me back 10 years, I’m pretty sure I’d cry. No way do I want to end up in high school again. I absolutely hated those endless classes. Who in their right mind would want to go back to cramming textbooks for eight different subjects? Definitely not me.

But let’s be real, most people wouldn’t pass up the chance. Some would jump at the opportunity to invest in stock because now they know exactly which ones will skyrocket. Others might decide, “I’m not marrying him this time,” because they regret how their marriage turned out. Maybe someone else would say, “Let me pick a different career path, I struggled so much finding a job, I don’t want to go through that again.”

So, we make different choices. But what if the past isn’t that easy to rewrite?

That’s exactly the question explored in the 2025 Japanese remake of the Korean drama Marry My Husband.

Series Title: Marry My Husband
Release Year: 2025
Episode: 10
Director: Ahn Gil-ho
Cast: Fuka Koshiba as Misa
         Takeru Satoh as Wataru
         Sei Shiraishi as Reina
         You Yokoyama as Tomoya

The story follows Misa, who is tragically murdered by her husband Tomoya and her best friend Reina after discovering their affair. But fate gives her a second chance – she wakes up 10 years earlier, before her marriage.

Determined not to repeat her past, Misa tries to change the course of her life. But she quickly learns it’s not that simple. Some events seem destined to happen unless something or someone—takes their place. So, to change her fate, she devises a clever plan: she’ll match her fiancé Tomoya with her former best friend Reina, ensuring she steps out of the picture before it’s too late. All this, with the unexpected help of Wataru, her director, who has secretly loved her for years.

If you had the chance to go back in time 10 years, what would you do?
Would you change your choices, even if it’s difficult?
