After Friday’s unexpected outing and Saturday’s road trip to Ngong, Sunday was much quieter.
I woke up around noon and enjoyed some leftover pizza from the night before. With no electricity for most of the day, there wasn’t much to do, so I spent most of my time resting.
My Sunday consisted of a simple routine: sleep, wake up, eat and repeat. Normally, I would have found that boring, but after two eventful days, it felt like the perfect way to recharge.
Sometimes we think a good weekend has to be packed with activities, but I’ve come to appreciate the slower days too. They give us a chance to rest, reflect, and prepare for the week ahead.
Looking back, I had an amazing weekend. From spontaneous outings and road trips to pizza dinners and a lazy Sunday, it was a nice balance of adventure and relaxation.
For someone who usually enjoys staying indoors, I wouldn’t mind having more weekends like this.
